An artist talk "From seedling to the sky" by Natalia Fedorova will cover the bioart projects with dendrological focus to explore the modalities and themes expressed with the help of the trees. In Olga Kisseleva's EDEN the memories of the trees are addressed in order to help geographically remote trees and possibly humans to avoid catastrophic scenarios. In Tree ID by Agness Mayer Brandis the tree is addressed as a possible bearer of different unwelt, a form of sensual perception of the world, through volatile organic components. Similar volatile organic components are made visible in the Atmospheric forest of Rasa Smite and Raitis Smits. In To be the wind for the tree by Natalia Fedorova she is interested in creating an interspecies communicator with the trees based on their physiological parameters and translate those in a form of a poetry generator.
